Chili Vibes Only 🌶️

Earlier today, Bigelow Laboratory hosted its 10th annual chili cook-off. Team members broke out their best recipes and flooded our campus with copious numbers of beans, crockpots, and secret spice blends to chase off some of the cold air that’s been hanging around the past few weeks.

Over a fun potluck lunch, Bigelowians sampled each other’s recipes and voted for their favorites in categories such as best meat and vegetarian chilis, most surprising recipe, and tastiest side dish. Pictured from left to right are the champions: Manoj Kamalanathan (gochujang cookies), Sarah Douglas (pork birria chili), Caitlyn Olson (honey-crusted cornbread), and Elena Shippey (spicy vegan chili), along with organizer extraordinaire Abby Jones.
