The Maine Blue Biotech Innovation Studio kicked off on March 9, bringing 10 teams focused on converting marine resources into high-value commercial products to Bigelow Laboratory‘s campus in East Boothbay.
Organized with Hatch Blue and supported by Maine Technology Institute, the program is designed to promote the application of marine resources into high-value sectors, supporting companies to grow into investable, market-ready businesses.
The studio culminates with the North Atlantic Blue BioTech Summit on March 19, which will assemble investors, innovators, policymakers, and corporate leaders from around the world in Portland to accelerate commercialization.
