This month’s Ocean on Tap speaker is Jessica Woodend of Within the Whale, a hands-on learning program that brings a replica of life-sized whale to teach about whale biology. She will be speaking about teaching inside a life-sized whale, what these ocean giants can teach us, and why understanding whales matters for the Gulf of Maine.
Ocean on Tap is an informal, ocean-centric speaker series organized by researchers from Bigelow Laboratory. Our goal is to bring the community together over the fascinating world of the ocean. At these events, speakers will share their corner of expertise in the ocean, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
