Collaborative Excellence

From March 16-20, Bigelow Laboratory Senior Research Scientist José Fernández-Robledo led a short course at MDI Biological Laboratory as part of the Maine IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE). In addition, Senior Research Scientist Peter Countway led a lecture and a lab. Students from University of Maine at Farmington and University of Maine at Machias participated in the course.

Maine INBRE is a collaborative network of educational and research institutions. It focuses on creating a technically skilled workforce through biomedical research experiences for undergraduate students, provides research support to faculty, and improves research infrastructure through a collaborative network of core facilities.

Thank you to José and Peter for helping to educate the next generation of biomedical researchers!
