Registration is now open for Bigelow Laboratory‘s BLOOM Educators, a free, four-day residential program that gives middle and high school teachers hands-on experience in ocean science.
Participants earn continuing education credits while diving into lab activities, field sampling, and even a research cruise. At the end of the program, participants head home with equipment kits and instructional materials designed to empower them with the tools, confidence, and real-world experience to bring ocean science to life.
Building on last year’s pilot, the program now includes expanded curriculum resources, new technology for sharing plankton data, and is open to teachers from New Hampshire for the first time.
