Our Keller BLOOM application deadline is fast approaching this Friday. If you haven’t yet submitted your materials, don’t wait: you won’t want to miss this immersive ocean science experience!
The free Keller BLOOM program is open to all Maine high school juniors with an interest in the ocean. Participating students spend a week on our East Boothbay campus where they will work with advanced scientific equipment and learn from world leaders in oceanographic research.
In addition to getting access to our teaching classrooms and lab facilities, students will also get out on our research vessel, the R/V Bowditch. Participants live together in our award-winning residence hall under chaperoned conditions, and all meals and snacks are provided.
The 2026 program runs May 17-22.
