Last week, Bigelow Laboratory proudly hosted the Maine International Trade Center (MITC)’s Maine International Trade Day. The event celebrated our state’s international business community, focusing attention on the importance of global trade for the state.
Deb Bronk, our president and CEO, delivered a keynote presentation about research, development, and the blue economy. Throughout the talk, she explored opportunities to connect R&D, industry, and marine resources to amplify statewide economic output and prosperity.
We love looking at tiny life forms through microscopes, but we get just as excited about sharing some big-picture thinking. Thank you to MITC for including us in this inspiring event! And thanks for allowing us to show off our forum space, which was designed exactly to bring together these kinds of collaborative gatherings.
