The Boothbay Register covered Bigelow Laboratory‘s 10th annual Fun Run & Walk fundraiser.
The institution hosts the event in honor of its former executive director, Graham Shimmield, who was instrumental in the creation of Bigelow’s marine research and education campus in East Boothbay. Shimmield died after a long battle with colon cancer in 2016.
