Have you ever gazed at the ocean and pondered what’s happening on a molecular scale? No? We may be biased, but fascinating processes are taking place at the microscopic level! Fortunately, tomorrow’s your chance to get up close with the chemical structure of the ocean.
Join us at Footbridge Brewery on Thursday, June 18 for the next Ocean on Tap talk! Susanna Michael, a postdoc at Bigelow Laboratory, will describe the journey of molecules and chemicals in the ocean. She will break down the elements found in seawater and why its composition varies from location to location.
Ocean on Tap is an informal, ocean-centric speaker series organized by researchers from Bigelow Laboratory. Our goal is to bring the community together over the fascinating world of the ocean. At these events, speakers will share their corner of expertise in the ocean, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
