We had a wonderful time welcoming this year’s group of Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness interns to Bigelow Laboratory!
Over several days, the interns joined our REU students out on the water to explore oceanographic sampling techniques. They also gained hands-on lab experience and traded stories, perspectives, and experiences with our students and staff.
This exchange program between Bigelow Laboratory and Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness has become a consistent highlight each summer. Year after year, it reminds us of the value of sharing scientific knowledge and fostering community connections.
Thank you for another wonderful visit, and we are already looking forward to next year.
