We were thrilled to welcome hundreds of visitors to Bigelow Laboratory this weekend as the Lincoln County host for Maine Historical Society’s statewide Declaration of Independence tour.
Guests of all ages had the rare opportunity to see one of only 26 surviving copies of the Dunlap Broadside, printed on July 4, 1776. It was a memorable experience to share with our community!
Together we celebrated the revolutionary ideas that are foundational to both American history and scientific exploration. If you missed it, catch the next stop at Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk.
