Hatch Blue and Bigelow Laboratory announced the launch of applications for the Maine Blue Biotech Studio<\/strong>, which will take place March 9-20, 2026. The initiative will bring scientists, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders together at Bigelow Laboratory to turn ideas into scalable marine biotech ventures. Applications are due January 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, November 13, Bigelow Laboratory hosted the Maine Algal Research Infrastructure and Accelerator (MARIA) All Hands meeting<\/strong>. More than 30 team members, stakeholders, and industry partners came together to share accomplishments and lessons learned over the first year of the project. The discussions will support ongoing work to build an algae innovation ecosystem in Maine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
