first-hand experience with several different instruments in the <strong>Center for Aquatic Cytometry<\/strong>, the <strong>Single Cell Genomics Center<\/strong>, and the <strong>Center for Ocean Education and Innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may be asking yourself: what is flow cytometry? It\u2019s a method that allows scientists to detect microbes and other small particles in water using laser light. Bigelow Laboratory was one of the first places to examine, count, and study phytoplankton using the tool.
