One of GOAP\u2019s primary goals is to transform fragmented ocean data into actionable insights that strengthen policy, guide investment, and embed sustainability into planning and decision-making. Our institution enthusiastically supports efforts to grow Maine\u2019s <strong>blue economy<\/strong>. Our researchers have decades of <strong>ocean forecasting<\/strong> expertise, and we recently took ownership of the <strong>National Ocean Economics Program,<\/strong> which provides accessible and broadly relevant economic and social information about U.S. ocean and coastal zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bigelow Laboratory is excited to collaborate with more than 50 GOAP members already working to advance ocean accounting worldwide.
