Last month, researchers from Bigelow Laboratory and Maine Department of Marine Resources gathered at our lab for the inaugural Bigelow-DMR Collaborative Symposium — hopefully, the first of many to come!
A culmination of years of strong partnership between the two organizations, the event provided a chance for researchers to share their discoveries, brainstorm joint projects, and discuss how to share data.
More than that, it was a chance to deepen relationships between two organizations with shared expertise in ocean monitoring, strong analytical capacity, and a joint commitment to the future of the Gulf of Maine.
