The latest report from Maine’s Blue Economy Task Force outlines recommendations for creating a blue economy center in the state. Proposed functions of the center include synthesizing ocean economy data, tracking trends, coordinating networking and events, supporting innovation, and attracting investment.
We are proud to be part of this important work through the efforts of our Vice President for Research, Beth Orcutt, working with Maine Technology Institute and Maine Department of Economic and Community Development to help expand high-paying jobs in rural areas.
