Since it opened earlier this year, Bigelow Laboratory’s new Alfond Center forum has become a hotbed of convening activity.
Last week, researchers from around the world and legislators from around the country came to our campus for two, overlapping blue economy-focused events.
Besides showcasing our state-of-the-art gathering facilities, the gatherings highlighted how organizations like Bigelow Laboratory, working at the intersection of science, technology, and policy, can advance sustainable, ocean-based economic development to strengthen local economies, support heritage industries, and promote innovations of the future.
