The Continuous Plankton Recorder (CPR) is one of the oldest and most geographically extensive marine monitoring programs in the world. It provides 90 years of data on the marine plankton community and offers the world’s largest catalogued plankton archive.
This week, four Bigelowians attended the 2025 CPR Workshop at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The event was co-sponsored by the NOAA Cooperative Institute for the North Atlantic Region. The workshop empowered researchers at all career levels to share insights, build skills, and discuss innovative uses of CPR data to advance marine science.

Thank you for attending, and special thanks to Rebekah, Nick, and Karen for delivering presentations during the workshop!
